Welcome back to Term 3, 2009.  This term we look forward to our school Ski programme run in partnership with Treble Cone.  We will also visit the Snow Farm next week on July 31, which should be fun, and this is organised by Mr Cartlidge.  We will be meeting with parents next Monday for Parent Teacher Interviews, so please contact the office for a ten minute appointment time.  Skiing commences on Friday 7 August and runs until Friday 11 September, with 18 September as back up day.

Children this term will be focusing on the Deeper Features of Writing and Basic Fact learning, along with Gymnastics in the first few weeks of term.  Democratic Curriculum units as selected by the children will begin and these will integrate other curriculum areas into the unit.

Don't forget to complete our Community Survey currently available from the office, which will form the basis of our new strategic plan for Holy Family School.  Later in the term we will also be surveying you about Health and Physical Education in the school, as this consultation occurs every two years.
